Expat Centre

The Expat Centre Leiden (ECL) offers government services, information and provides a network for internationals living or working in the Leiden region. Internationals can be registered by making an appointment, receive a Citizen Service Number (Burgerservicenummer - BSN) and receive information about living in the Netherlands.

The Expat Centre Leiden facilitates registrations for people living or working in Leiden, Katwijk, Leiderdorp, Oegstgeest, Voorschoten and Zoeterwoude. Their clients are companies, highly skilled migrants, intra corporate transferees, scientific researchers, entrepreneurs, recent graduates, and EU citizens who fall under these categories along with their families. Services are offered in all stages of expat life: coming to, settling in, living, and leaving.
